In North America, tractors carried the “Ferguson” badge only from 1948 until 1960. As a result, production numbers for Ferguson tractors are much smaller than those of many other brands, although Ferguson’s development of the 3 point hitch continues to be the standard among many other tractors today.
To assist with Ferguson, Ferguson Enthusiasts of North America FENA will be on the grounds continuing their beginnings by having their members bring tractors and implements to tractor shows. Members have Club Lodging block in Reedsburg and a FENA Banquet options: https://www.fergusonenthusiasts.org/event-list

A neat event FENA brings to shows is a timed assembly of a Ferguson 20 Tractor. From pieces on the floor to running like it was assembled in the factory. Groups (FFA, Friends) can sign up to do an assembly. If skies are clear it will occur by the food court and parade announcer stand, otherwise in the feature building. Sign up with your fellow assemblers for a build time Friday 10, 1 or 4; Saturday 10 or 1.
FENA will also run a fundraiser Auction by Feature building after the parade Saturday. Items include Ferguson related parts and items.
For more information about Ferguson at BS&GEC Show www.fergusonenthusiasts.org or contact FENA president Alexander Stuck 703-774-7051 or David Lory 608-348-6344.

Fordson was a brand name of tractors and trucks. It was used on a range of mass-produced general-purpose tractors manufactured by Henry Ford & Son Inc from 1917 to 1920, by Ford Motor Company (U.S.) and Ford Motor Company Ltd (U.K.) from 1920 to 1928, and by Ford Motor Company Ltd (U.K.) alone from 1929 to 1964. The latter (Ford of Britain) also later built trucks and vans under the Fordson brand.
After 1964, the Fordson name was dropped and all Ford tractors were simply badged as Fords in both the UK and the US.
Fordson and Ford coordinators are Ted Foster 269-470-3888 and Neal Stone 608-963-5776
Founded in 1872, Western Malleable and Grey Iron Manufacturing Co. company was located in Milwaukee, WI. In 1911, the firm came under the control of Leland M. Turner changed the name to Turner Manufacturing Co. and moved it to Port Washington, WI. They were a manufacturer of gas engines including the “Simplicity” engines.
A “Turner Simplicity hit and miss” refers to a type of gasoline engine manufactured by the Turner Company, specifically designed with a “hit and miss” firing mechanism, often used in early farm equipment due to its simple design and ability to adjust power based on load demands.

If you have one of these machines we encourage you to become an Exhibitor!
